I put this question here so all can read and participate not just the leaders as it effects all clannies.

We are now doing plenty of Hodgman runs and will continue to do so. My idea is this we all have multis we use and do not use I am suggesting we pull together 5 multis which will become clan based multis to be used on Hodgman runs for Hamsters, Coats and Sticks.

Each one would have to have binder with 20 glyphs and be fully available for anyone in clan to use. This will enable us to do a run when ever with out worrying about a class not being available. Also if someone is in HC or in a contest they can still participate.

I am willing to donate Magic Hands a 20 Glyph Turtle Tamer.

But first discuss if it is an idea the whole clan as a group likes or dislikes and then move on from there.

Please vote and comment as well everyones voice should be heard.

i have two extra accounts i'd like to do something with

neither of them have been in hobotown yet but it wouldn't take long to outfit them with a binder and glyphs

if everybody likes the idea i'll post them

Hamanah is a level 20 pastamancer we could use if you want.

I like the idea. Especially the idea that if someone's in HC or contest they can participate in hodgman runs. But my only concern is that the hobotown loot would go to that account, not to the person playing the account. so if someone in hc wanted a coat, and they used one of these accounts to get one, the account would get the coat and not the person. I like the idea, I guess I'd just like a little clarification on some things before I say yay or nay to the idea.

Woof does raise a valid point...the accounts won't help those in HC but there is merit to the idea of having 6 Dummy Accounts to help out in our Hobo Runs and possibly other Hobo runs if there is a shortfall and we need a body to help a clannie get an item. I'm not doing much with my with a few accounts and am not opposed to making a clan dummy account with one of them. My fear though is that as I get glyphs and lvl up with one of them we will end up short for runs we are planning in the near future. Let me know what we need and maybe I can sort this out without leaving the clan short a body in the near future.

I think the suggestion was that we make the passwords to these accounts public, we run them through to get the hamster, then one of us joins hobopolis and accepts the hamster as loot. My question is if this would be a permanent assignment for these multis or will we be able to "reclaim" them eventually?

As I see it the whole idea is to help clannies get their hammys, coats and sticks while we have difficulties to put a team as most of other clannies dont have time or have their accounts ascending or not yet leveled. As it I like this idea.
However I see some problems with that. Firstly password cannot be just shown public and all of the clannies should be very discrete about them.
It would require from the owner of that account constant changes of password which could be tiresome sometimes too.

Woof is right too. This not helps those currently in HC or in contests. IT helps however other help their items and I like this idea.
Mzhvanetsky, I think it means that if you want to get a hamster you have to join as your main account when you do not have it busy in other means, but such multis would help you to get one as those clannies, who are in HC but with time available could help you to get it.

Yes that is what it means. Firstly there aren't enough extra adventures to guarantee bringing another Multi through the sewers...there is not even a guarantee that the RNG will even allow us get a Hamster as we have already learned and secondly you are only allowed to have one multi in any single instance of Hobopolis so playing a Clan account and then bringing your main through to get a Hamster is a clear violation of that rule.

In regards to the password issue I don't think "Public" implies that we are to post the password in the profile or something like that I assume it would be posted only to clannies. If there is concern about the possibility of the password getting out and the account getting hijacked then I might suggest the account "owner" change the password when loaning the account to a clannie and then change it back when the account is returned.

I like this idea. however, the biggest impediment (from my POV) is the rule about not having multis in the same run. For those that volunteer, their main would have to be the same class as the alt they are volunteering so the main can just replace the alt in that particular run.

For the passwords, we can kmail passwords before every run if no one wants to post them somewhere.
